Hi to all out there with the surname Caley. This is my maiden name and I am from the Isle of Man. My father Stephen and grand-father were also from the Isle of Man. I beleive they were from the south of the Island (Castletown). Would love to hear from other Manx Caley's.

I am decended from the Suffolk England Caleys. My father is Eric Percy Caley, his father was Percy Caley and his Grandparents were George and Kate Caley all lived in the Claydon area. Many Caleys still live there. Can be traced back to Hugh de Cailly from Cailly in Normandy. Have visited this village which is near Belacrombe France. The story goes Hugh de Cailly joined William the Conqueror and was given lands in Orby for his efforts. Daughter and son in law live in Connecticut USA.
